One of the best cafes in St Andrews. Very handy, as it nearest cafe to the bus station.

Rector's was the very first place I visited in St Andrews, so it's quite nostalgic for me. It is a fab coffee place with a unique vibe, perfect for studying or chillin out with friends. They have quite a large selection of hot drinks, and lots of sweet baked goods as well. You can get some food (mostly sandwiches/wraps) too. I love their vegan options - you can get your coffee with oat milk, or get a vegan muffin or a sandwich. Can recommend to both students and visitors!

Wonderful, helpful staff, excellent service. Great place to relax. Delicious lemon poppy seed cake and others very good. But why do they sell horrible coffee ? Why don't they sell Matthew Algie - a smooth, delicious blend ? Matthew Algie is sold in the Uni Library cafes. P.S. I do not work for MA.

Great student cafe. Prices are good, coffee and food are decent. Service is nice and all profits go back into the student union.

Usually our first coffee stop when we arrive in St Andrews. Noticed this morning very busy now that term time has started. Like to sit on comfy sofas watching the world go by and the coffee is good and reasonably priced compared to high street coffee shops.
